Bus Riders Count!

*Ride with Dignity: 500 Buses by 2010! Stop Privatization!*

Saturday, February 10th, meet at 11am

and Thursday, February 15th, meet at 7am

at the Bus Riders Union office
672 East Broadway St

This Saturday and Thursday mornings, join the Bus Riders Union to document
overcrowded buses and long waits.We are meeting at the BRU office then going
out to different locations in small groups. Childcare, snacks and bus
tickets available. Groups will collect:

   1. Photodocumentation:Take pictures of overcrowded buses and long line
   ups.


   1. Surveys:Collect surveys from bus riders of their experiences of
   overcrowding, long waits and high fares.


   1. Testimonials:Write down bus riders' personal stories of struggling
   to get around on our public transit system.


   1. Bus counts: Count riders on overcrowded buses, measure long waits
   and count riders passed by full buses.
