Translink has done it again; it will increase the fare in 2008. We need to
act now and let all bus riders know how  we should  fight the fare increase.
Bus riders need to talk to bus riders and encourage them to get involve with
the fight for lower fares and more buses. The rally and march on September
22, 2007 is one way we can fight back and send a strong and loud message to
translink that bus rider oppose the proposed unjust fare increase. We want
to pressure all levels of government to support a public transit system that
promotes social justice, equity, public health and environmental
sustainability. So come and show our support for the Stop the fare increase!
Transit for all! Campaign, enjoy the live street theatre and take action on
Saturday August 25th, 2007.
