Next TransLink Meeting: Wednesday, September 21st, 9 AM, North Vancouver City Hall

AND TELL TRANSLINK 

TO LOWER THE FARE NOW! 

FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH AND SOCIAL JUSTICE.

The Bus Riders Union is calling all members, supporters and angry bus riders to the next TransLink meeting.

It's critical that we get out to this meeting to pressure TransLink directors to bring a notice of motion to lower the fares. A notice of motion will give bus riders and our allies a clear flashpoint and demand to organize around in the lead up to municipal elections in November. This is the time when the regional politicians who sit on the TransLink board are the most sensitive to public pressure and it's the best time to make the strength of our grassroots movement for social and environmental justice felt. Bus tickets for travel to and from the meeting are available for those who need them.
