Hello BRU members and supporters!

This Monday August 1st from 10 am - 4 pm the BRU is holding our 
Annual Fundraising Sidewalk Sale 
at REACH Community Health Centre - 1145 Commerical Drive

Please come and check out the wares at this awesome sale and make a small contribution to a concrete campaign to benefit your community! This annual sidewalk sale is an important part of our work to Lower the Fare Now! as it raises critical funds to support our day-to-day organizing work. As well as raising funds for our local concrete campaign to benefit working class bus riders, this sale is an integral part of our international solidarity work.  As per last year we are splitting the funds raised 50/50 between the BRU campaign to Lower the Fare NOW! and an international ally participating in liberation struggle - this year's choice of the Planning Committee is the Palestinian Union of Health Work Committees.
