help us buy a new slicer!

[Bread Uprising Bakery]

Right now the bread slicer we have slices bread Texas toast-thick. We've
been in need of a new slicer for a while, and finally found one for $300
at a used restaurant supply warehouse in Johnston County.

We don't have money in our budget right now for new equipment costs, so
we're asking for your help to pay for the slicer and start an
equipment/repair fund. Sliced bread will help make the bakery more
accessible, particularly to working families, and it will also allow us to
more easily bake bread for organizational partners who want to use it for
making sandwiches or after-school snacks.
