Greetings Friends!

It’s that time again
 time to start a new bakery subscription!!

We are thrilled to be baking bread and breaking bread with so many of you.

We are making a couple of changes to the subscription structure, so even
if you have already been subscribed, please take the time to read through
and fill out the sign-up form.  If you have not subscribed before – now is
another chance to sign up!  We are especially excited to be trying out a
new format to replace payments/pledges and move towards supporting each
other in new ways.

Important dates:
-Thursday, August 5th: Sign-up forms are due
-Thursday, August 12th: We will contact you to confirm your subscription
-Monday, August 16th: the subscription begins and runs for 11 weeks
(August 16-October 25)
-Sunday, September 12th, 1-4pm: bakery assembly!!  More details to come –
but please save the date.  Our visioning team has been working hard on
this.

For those of you who are new to the bread, here are the basics:
-It is healthy, delicious bread, muffins, pizza crusts, granola, etc. –
organic, local ingredients, baked with love by your queer bakers
-You sign up for the bread you want, and say what you can contribute (see
form)
-We are about building community, changing the food system, and ending
capitalism
-You can check out breaduprising.wordpress.com for examples of what we’ve
baked the past 2 seasons (and our zine!).
-If you buy bread we only have one question for you: why??  We want to
bake for you!  If there is something stopping you, we want to know what it
is, so we can make this work for you.
