Hi all,

We have been hard at work preparing for the bakery assembly this Sunday,
4/25 from 1-4pm, and we are excited!  This email contains: details, what
to bring, directions.

**Details:**
Some folks have asked... what is an assembly anyway?  Isn't it where you
put a bunch of things together?  Yes.  And so.. it is a big gathering of
people, to plan the vision and future of the bakery!  We'll have some time
to hang out & run around, time to eat, and time to have a serious
discussion & visioning too.

Roberto is going to be facilitating the discussion part - yay!  We plan to
talk about vision, structure, and decision-making for the bakery.

We know that some folks have commitments earlier in the day.  It is okay
if you have to come late, but please come as soon as you can!  If you
haven't already, please let us know if you are planning to come so that we
know to wait for you!


**Please bring:**
-Food.  This is a potluck.  We'll have some food also and... bread!) -Your
visions & stories & ideas for the bakery's future!
-Your kids.  This is a kid-friendly space, so little tiny ones are welcome
to lie around and slightly bigger little ones can run-around (it is a huge
space).  We will have folks responsible for childcare (let us know if you
are interested in signing up for an hour-long shift).


**Location:**
The Terreiro de Arte e Cultura
105C W Corporation St. / Durham.

This is the space where my capoeira group meets, and it right near the
corner of Mangum & Corporation.  The entrance is a gravel parking lot with
a big chain-link fence around it on Corporation.  The Terreiro is all the
way at the far end of the parking lot.  It is in the same strip as Bull
City Headquarters, Ujamaa Boardhouse, & Bountiful Backyards - but the
entrance is only around the back (NOT on Mangum).

Directions:
>From the North (Mangum St.):  Go South on Mangum.  After you pass Trinity
& Geer St. the next light is Corporation.  Turn R.  The parking lot
entrance is immediately to your L.

>From the East, coming from Corporation: go through the Mangum St.
intersection & the parking lot entrance is immediately to your L - you'll
see a big chain-link fence (and a faint sign that says Terreiro).

>From the West, coming from Corporation: after you cross Rigsbee (flashing
light), go around the curve, and the entrance to the gravel parking lot
will be on your R, just before you get to Mangum.

Why are our emails always so long?? Oh well - you're at the end!
