Dear friends, supporters, members, workers, owners, worker-owners,
community members, elders, loves, organizers, advisors...

Up to this point the two of us have been ultimately responsible for making
decisions about the bakery. After a lot of discussions, we're realizing
that for this to be a community bakery, it needs to be grounded in a
community decision-making process. After all, we might be the bakers, but
without your support, financial or otherwise, bread wouldn't happen. In a
very real sense y'all are already working for the bakery.

So...

Sunday April 25th from 1-4 PM we're inviting y'all to join us in a
community visioning process!

Or, better described, a potluck lunch and assembly to discuss the stories
we tell about the bakery, its mission and goals; to brainstorm future
plans and how they fit in with community needs; and to decide what sort of
decision-making structure we want to use going forward.

RSVP if you're able to attend -- we'll contact everyone who RSVPs with the
location as soon as we confirm it.

We're committed to making sure the space is accessible to anyone who wants
to attend, and childcare will be available. Please contact us about your
specific childcare needs so we can make sure they're met, and about
anything else you need in order to be able to attend.

In excitement,
Noah and Tim

PS. Right now we're working with Kriti to plan the meeting structure. If
any of y'all would like to take part in the planning, please get in touch
with us.
