Haiti Today: Economic Calamity, Foreign Interference
A Reportback by Roger Annis

While Haiti has fallen off the radar for the corporate media, the Canada
Haiti Action Network continues to follow closely the evolving situation on
the ground.  In August 2007, Vancouver activist Roger Annis spent two
weeks in Haiti as part of a human rights delegation sponsored by the
U.S.-based Fondasyon Mapou and Haiti Priorities Project.

Now on a Canada-wide tour, Roger Annis will give an eye-opening report on
the delegation's findings as they traveled from town to town across Haiti,
meeting with government officials, citizen’s groups, labour organizers and
victims of persecution. Photographs and video images recorded during the
delegation will also be presented.
