Palestine and the struggle against the Israeli apartheid wall, as lived by a
young Palestinian director, born in exile and raised in the United-States...

This evening is organised to commemorate 60 years of occupation and to
celebrate the Palestinian voice, as part of the international campaign of
cultural boycott of the Israeli apartheid...

November 29, 1947, the general assembly of the United Nations votes the
resolution 181 which "recommends" the partition of Palestine into two states, a
jewish and an arab state. This 'solution' contradicts the principle of people's
self-determination, and is colonial in nature as it was refused by the
indigenous Arab people who will not even have a say in the layout.

Partition implied a fundamental injustice which will inevitably result in the
1948 war and to the Naqba: the expulsion of approximately 800 000 Palestinians
and the occupation of their land by the new colonial Israeli state.

For 60 years, the question of refugees has not been solved, as right of return
for Palestinian refugees has been denied by Israel, the occupation, land
dispossession and the human rights violations have been going on. Against all
odds the Palestinian people continue to resist.
