Le mois de mars 2007 marquera le quatrième anniversaire de l'invasion et de
l'occupation de l'Irak par les États-Unis et leurs alliés. George Bush vient
d'annoncer l'envoi de plusieurs milliers d'autres soldats en Irak, alors que
le nombre de civil-e-s tués augmente de façon dramatique. La soi-disant «
guerre au terrorisme » prend de l'expansion, par les bombardements récents
en Somalie et par la torture et les abus qui ont toujours lieu dans les
camps de concentration à l'états-unienne, à Guantanamo, à Abu Ghraib, à
Bagram et dans des « prisons secrètes » partout à travers le monde.

Pendant ce temps, le Canada continue à appuyer l'impérialisme états-unien au
Moyen-Orient. Un appui illustré par les milliers de soldats stationnés en
Afghanistan et par les propos de Stephen Harper, qui a décrit l'offensive
israélienne contre le Liban et la Palestine comme étant une « réponse
mesurée ».

C'est en opposition à la guerre, à l'occupation et à l'impérialisme que nous
prendrons les rue le samedi 17 mars prochain pour crier haut et fort:

March 2007 marks the fourth anniversary of the brutal invasion and
occupation of Iraq 
 George Bush is increasing -- despite worldwide
opposition and outrage -- the number of American troops in Iraq, meaning
more death and devastation for Iraqi civilians 
 The so-called "War on
Terror" expands, with the recent bombardment and occupation of Somalia, and
continued torture and abuse at American-run concentration camps at
Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib, Bagram and at secret prisons all over the world.

Meanwhile the Canadian government continues to support US-led imperialism in
the Middle East with thousands of troops in Afghanistan, and Stephen Harper
describing the deaths of civilians in Lebanon and Palestine as "measured and
justified."

In opposition to war, occupation and imperialism, this coming Saturday,
March 17, 2007 we take to the streets to demand:

El mes de marzo 2007 marcará el cuarto aniversario de la invasión y de la
ocupación de Iraq por los Estados Unidos y sus aliados. George Bush acaba de

anunciar el envío de varios miles de soldados mas en Iraq, mientras que el
número de civiles asesinados aumenta dramáticamente.

La llamada "guerra contra el terrorismo" se expande, por los recientes
bombardeos en Somalia y por la tortura y los abusos que siguen ocurriendo en
los campos de concentración a lo gringo, en Guantánamo, en Abu Ghraib, en
Bagram y en "prisiones secretas" en todas partes del mundo.

Mientras tanto, el gobierno canadiense continua de apoyar el imperialismo
estadounidense en el Oriente Medio, por los miles de soldados estacionados
en Afganistán y por el discurso de Stephen Harper quien describió la
ofensiva israelí en el Líbano y en Palestina como una "respuesta moderada".

Es en oposición a la guerra, a la ocupación y al imperialismo, que tomaremos
las calles el sabado 17 de marzo para gritar con fuerza:
