We would like to invite you to a discussion with Luningning
Alcuitas-Imperial, the International League of Peoples' Struggles (ILPS)
International Co-ordinating Committee (ICC) representative for Canada.
She is also a founding member of Grassroots Women, an anti-imperialist
women's organization formed to address the systemic marginalization of
working class women, both employed and unemployed.

The International League of Peoples' Struggle (ILPS) is an
anti-imperialist and democratic formation (see ILPS Charter). It promotes,
supports and develops the anti-imperialist and democratic struggles of the
people of the world against imperialism and all reaction. Striving to
realize unity, cooperation, and coordination of anti-imperialist and
democratic struggles throughout the world.

The ILPS has been very active in Canada. They have held several
educational discussions, forums, and political actions against imperialist
domination. One of their major activities was just held last year,
"Towards a Just and Lasting Peace", in Vancouver, BC and brought delegates
around the world to critically examine the question of peace. In 2004,
under the auspices of the ILPS, an international conference, "Laws,
Labels, and Liberation". The conference, critical of anti-terrorist laws,
examined the case of Professor Jose Maria Sison, the current ILPS
Chairperson, and was held in Montreal.

This invitation is extended to all anti-imperialist groups and individuals
who are interested to learn more about the ILPS' work and campaigns for
the past six years.
