Endossez le contingent anti-impérialiste.

Le mois de mars 2007 marquera le quatrième anniversaire de l'invasion
et de l'occupation de l'Irak par les États-Unis et leurs alliés.
George Bush vient d'annoncer l'envoi de plusieurs milliers d'autres
soldats en Irak, tandis que le nombre de civil-e-s tués augmente de
façon dramatique. Des engins états-uniens attaquent présentement la
population somalienne, et la soi-disant « guerre au terrorisme » prend
de l'expansion.

Le Canada appuie de manière active l'impérialisme états-unien au
Moyen-Orient et ailleurs, par le déploiement de plus de 2000 soldats
en Afghanistan et par l'implication des multinationales canadiennes
(ainsi que par la complicité des ONG et soi-disant agences de «
développement »). Les qualificatifs utilisés par Stephen Harper pour
décrire l'offensive israélienne contre la population du Liban et de la
Palestine (on se souviendra qu'il a caractérisé ces attaques comme
étant « une réponse mesurée ») ne font que renforcer le soutien actif
du Canada à l'impérialisme occidental au Moyen-Orient.

C'est donc en opposition à l'impérialisme états-unien/canadien, et à
l'occupation continue de l'Irak, que nous prendrons les rues à nouveau
au mois de mars 2007.

Suite au succès du contingent anti-impérialiste du 28 octobre dernier,
dans la manifestation contre l'occupation canadienne en Afghanistan,
Bloquez l'empire organisera un autre contingent anti-impérialiste dans
le cadre des manifestations de mars 2007.

Le contingent anti-impérialiste BLOQUEZ L'EMPIRE sera un espace
accueillant pour les enfants. Nous nous joindrons à la manifestation
organisée par Échec à la guerre tout en mobilisant de façon autonome
pour le contingent.

Nous marcherons en opposition à la guerre ici et ailleurs et en
opposition à l'impérialisme états-unien/canadien. Nous scandons à
nouveau notre slogan du 28 octobre 2006 : Ils occupent... Nous
résistons!

Nous dénonçons la guerre et l'occupation, et appuyons la résistance
populaire: ... en Irak ... en Afghanistan ... en Palestine ... au

Endorse the Montreal Anti-Imperialist Contingent

January 15, 2007

This coming March 2007 will mark the 4th anniversary of the US-led
invasion and occupation of Iraq. George Bush has just announced an
increase of US troops into Iraq, all while the death toll of Iraqi
civilians rises drastically. US gunships currently attack civilians in
Somalia as the so-called "War on Terror" expands.

Meanwhile, Canada actively supports US-led imperialism in the Middle
East and beyond, with the deployment of more than 2000 troops in
Afghanistan, and the profiteering of Canadian multinationals (as well
as the complicity of so-called "development" agencies and NGOs).
Stephen Harper's description of Israeli aggression against the people
of Lebanon and Palestine as "proportionate and measured" this summer
only reinforces Canada's active support for Western imperialism in the
Middle East.

In opposition to US/Canadian imperialism, and the continued occupation
of Iraq, we will take the streets again this March 2007.

Following up on the successful anti-imperialist contingent this past
October 28, 2006 against Canada's occupation of Afghanistan, Block the
Empire is organizing another contingent for Montreal-area demos.

The BLOCK THE EMPIRE anti-imperialist contingent will be a
"child-friendly" march. We will be joining and supporting the Échec à
la guerre demonstration; while organizing autonomously as a
contingent.

We march in opposition to war at home and abroad, and against
US/Canadian imperialism. We reiterate our slogan from October 2006:
Occupation anywhere, resistance everywhere!

We are denouncing war and occupation, and supporting grassroots
resistance: Iraq ? Afghanistan ? Palestine ... Lebanon ... Iraq ...
Iran ... Bolivia ... Colombia ... Mapuche territory ... Oaxaca ?
Chiapas ... Philippines ... Haiti ... Six Nations ... Kahnawake ...
