Griffintown Coop, 242 Young street (near metro Bonavenutre, just south of Peel
and Notre Dame)
7:30pm - Potluck (bring food to share if you can)
8:30pm - Film screening, "The Agronomist"
10pm-11pm - Open discussion on the role of solidarity activists and independent
journalists in the Haiti solidarity movement

This will be a fun and sociable event where independent media activists and
social justice activists can come together to enjoy food and films, and
strategize.
Information on "The Agronomist":
"The Agronomist" is a critically-acclaimed documentary film which tells the
story of Jean Dominique, an independent radio journalist in Port-au-Prince,

A hat will be passed around for donations to support independent journalists
from Montreal travelling to Haiti in January, 2006.
