K, I just called the city to try n figure this stuff out. Apparently they don't schedule specific appointments because you're supposed to comply year round, but I explained that the space doesn't have open hours and that that creates challenges for us... basically I'm gona go over there and see what is obvious and easy/attainable as far as getting stuff decent, and hopefully they don't pick a super annoying time to come check it out! Eris offered to help me do stuff, Ill keep you all posted if I need anything else. Still a big question mark for now.

I just had a somewhat useful chat with the former tenant. I'm willing to take this on, I will do what I can to get this shit sorted. I'll keep everyone posted as to what's up.

I think we should meet with the inspector and come off as clueless as possible.

I'd put the show stuff away and say we are a community meeting/art space.

Yeah let's just be direct and co-operative and see what they want and what we can do about it. Or at least that seems like the most prudent approach to me. Megan are you still willing to be the point person for that?

Wouldn't they need keys to get in? Should we just not respond again?

If we do let them in, should we say we're a meeting space and put away all thee show stuff?

If we don't respond our chances of them going in without us knowing might happen and if we talk to them well be more prepared but mightn't get out of an inspection. I'm not sure, what do ye think
