[Blacklabcollective] Postpone volunteer party to Saturday sept 24 & make it an event to make money!!!

Ok, so we need to make a decision pretty soon as this is potentially coming
up in a week. My 2 cents is this: if we are each willing to front a bit of
the $$ and that is our only barrier then I think we should go ahead and do
it on a date when most of us are gonna be in town and wiling to help
out/organize. Pushing it back means we lose a lot of the person-power of
getting this night running. Further pushing it back into October means
someone else other than Anju needs to take it on, and that's a whole other
conversation to be had.
If we do decide to keep this date then lets promote it to our volunteers
asap, and sort out the financial issues. I'm willing to front $ for the keg
and to use my credit card as the damage deposit for the keg. So let's sort
out who can cover other costs, and figure out what we need to do in order
to make this happen?
