Yeah I'm super sorry to hear it turned out that way, and yeah let's do our best to make sure that kind of thing doesn't happen again. You two are champs!

>>> Hi,
>>> the total $$ we made tonight: 78 from door and 212.50 from bar, but that included some late night 6 pack sales that I think we maybe made a rule about not selling so cheaply but i couldn't remember? the bar did okay, although not for the weekend, and the show did pretty poorly, it was decently attended but I almost considered giving the two touring bands a bigger cut, but in the end decided to stick with our 50/50 policy.
>>> I'm sorry to those of you that I've already complained to, but I'm pretty peeved about this show. I signed up at the last second because Heather forgot she was doing the show and I guess some miscommunication happened and I thought I was just going to be the collective member body to fill the space/bylaw requirements. That is very much what I thought the email exchange implied. In the end Heather was an hour late and the promotor didn't have a phone so i was letting bands in/moving gear after 8 when the show should have already started, and heather and the promoter were not responding to texts or messages. I guess none of us noticed that the Facebook event was set for doors at 9, so when i told heather we really needed to start at 9, and be over by 11, they said they were receptive but really all the bands laughed at the timeline. I said beforehand earlier today that the show needed volunteers and then heather after 8pm was like "oh, there are no volunteers." So quinn did bar and i did security and I'm going to do clean up tomorrow and the show promoter did door and had a friend do sound. I emphasized to heather several times today that one can't just put on a show with no volunteers and then she just showed up with no communication, no volunteers, and didn't communicate to the bands that we actually don't start shows at 10 and end at midnight. During the first singer/songerwriters set i was worried about how late it was going and about to text heather that we needed to cut the set short and some random person told me that heather had actually left to go to another show and said "bye." I did my best with quinn helping as solo volunteers for the whole show but I am super super peeved. I think it that kind of circumstance its almost like "maybe i need to shut the fucking show down" because its not even safe to run an entire show with TWO people doing all of the volunteer roles. Especially when we said the back door needed to be locked and it was found open and people weren't even smoking outside but had left. Im very much like this make sense why only bottom liners need to have 100% been trained and no one but people versed in the details can put on a show Tonight was such a nightmare, I feel pretty shitty about the whole thing. Sorry to complain but I just do not feel good.
