Hey all, I just saw that the blood alley facebook posted this link:

it's a bit of a long thing, but in short, there is a long-standing
anarchist punk squat in mexico city at the university, it's faced a ton of
police repression in the past but has always sprung back... they are
currently facing a new wave of repression, and one of the people who
organizes there was beaten and arrested, had drugs planted on him, and is
now facing drug trafficking charges (this is a pretty common police
repression tactic in mexico)

they are asking for financial support. they have a pro-bono lawyer but they
expect bail for this guy to be around the $5000 + range (USD) which is a
LOT of money when yer making the equivalent of like $25 a week.

i totally have zero energy to put on any gigs right now cause i've been
dealing with some shitty health stuff, or i'd like to do a benefit... but
in the meantime maybe we can simply put out a donation jar at shows and try
to raise a few bucks... anything probably helps and our dollar is worth a
lot more in pesos. unless anyone would be into taking on a fundraiser gig!
but yea i think a donation jar would be a cool and easy idea.
