[Blacklabcollective] donation collection at upcoming GIGS

hey all!
so my friend megan mullally is hoping that she can put out / bring around a
donation jar for black lives matter and / or the tent city that is
happening in the DTES right now. I think this is an excellent idea and i've
told her that i support it-- she said she would make sure that she checks
in with individual promoters / bottomliners of shows first to make sure
it's ok but i think it's an easy way to support some important causes.

i am also trying to look online to see if there's a list anywhere of
supplies that the tent city needs and I'm going to post said list, should i
find it, to each event page we have coming up. the lab is really only a
couple short blocks away from where the tent city is happening, and several
of us in the collective probably know at least a few people living there,
so i think that puts us in a position where it could be very easy for us to
even walk supplies over. i'd be happy to do that part if no one else can
take it on. let's show some solidarity with our amazing neighbours!
