Hi all,
So I made the recent show deposits and paid rent today. I took 40$ from the
bar float to be on the safe side but also we've routinely been having 100+
in the float so I figured it wouldn't hurt. I'm guessing we still have
around 60, so, we still have plenty. Another 50 at least in the door float.
After paying rent we have 50$ in the bank, and while we still have to pay
the PA rental cost, I think all things considered, we are doing better than
we expected. We have a lot more shows coming up in July than we've had in
the past few months so I'm optimistic that we'll be on less precarious
terms financially. I think the first show we have is the Iskra show that
Anju is promoting and I am bottom-lining on the 5th. I can front beer $ for
that but if anyone can help me do a beer run (aka drive) i would be
incredibly grateful....I know Eris, Quinn and Megan will be out of town.
Also, please promote this show if you can..it's an extra early one and i
still want people to come on time, but I don't think i have a lot of fb
connections... and I'm still scrambling to find volunteers because a few
people just jumped ship this week. Crusts must still exist somewhere,
right?! Also, We've been scrambling a bit for float change recently. I'm
pretty available to do bank runs because I live so close, so if you are
bottomlining a show and can give me some heads up (I'm not following the
calandar to a T) I'm more than willing to run to the bank to buy a roll of
loonies or quarters. Keep in mind vancity is closed on the weekend. Ok,
