Hey, so the numbers for the show are : 212.75 door and 312 bar. I'll work
on setting up a meeting with our bank manager this week and getting a bank
card and hopefully depositing that cash. Legs and I took the approx 550-600
that was in the lockbox from previous shows to buy beer for the up and
coming shows, and we have a ton btw.
I also just want to say a really big thank you to everyone for helping out.
Even though I've been on the collective for awhile and I often volunteer to
do bar, this was the first show I officially bottomlined. Obviously I
couldn't have done it without everyone's help including the volunteers, but
I'm especially thankful to Mick for stepping up and doing everything when
volunteers were late, to Legs and Anju for answering all of my inane
questions via text and especially to Derek for not only doing sound but
basically helping me figure out about gear stuff because as someone who
doesn't play music and isn't in a band, I honestly don't know anything
except that all the mics and chords are in a yellow milk crate. It was a
learning experience and I think it went pretty smoothly. So thanks everyone
for your patience and I like to think that this experience makes me
confident enough to take on more show responsibilities in the future. PS
I'm going to sweep and mop tomorrow but at least i got the chain link
secured all by myself this time!
