Thanks Jakob, I can understand why what happened happened, it can get
overwhelming to run a show. Basically in the confusion you accidentally
counted in the float, but now you will always remember to separate it at
least :)
We still made $135 from the door, got a great beer contact potentially,
recruited a solid volunteer, and made $250 from bar. I think you did great!
Maybe with the cash out forms we can include the step of counting float and
separating it to help make things easier to remember in panicked moments! I
always have to start over and over when I count because of interruptions.
Another suggestion - let's turn that back storage area into an office with
a desk, calculator, book or computer with Internet to
Record numbers on the apreadheet. I think you raise a good point about
having a private space where you can sit down and think and have pen paper
calculator to do this stuff properly. I'll raise it at the next meeting. I
even have a small desk I can donate
