[Blacklabcollective] noise fest 2016

hey everyone,

what were your thoughts on the pre-noise fest show and the fest happening
at black lab last year (other than the confusion around the saturday
meeting, which had just started i believe that week!).

if people are into it, i'd like to propose to do it at black lab again in
april next year.

last year we did a deal where the pre-show was a normal show (half the
door, black lab keeps bar), it was a full solid show, we made lots of money
at the bar and did well at the door, and it will be the same this year (i
have a good headliner), and the next day festival ran it's own bar/door,
and paid a rental fee of $300 (noise is a difficult genre to pay out that
many touring artists).

It would be a friday and a saturday (fest on saturday, pre-show friday)

i think it's a good cause!

that all said, i'm also applying for a grant for black lab and i have a
$600 venue fee added as well as paid positions for all staff, so if i get
the grant, i could pay more and could probably pay you all to work bar/door
etc..

We will rent a PA.
