[Blacklabcollective] proposal! please read

Hi all.

as we all (i think?) know by now our dear friend and fellow collective
member Rafael is facing some very shitty immigration stuff.
I think we should help him cover these costs. Raf, you said it was like
$400 to file an appeal, right? Without being legally allowed to work that
is a lot of money.
I think we should try to do a show in June as a fundraiser if possible.
If anyone has any ideas about bands who could play for free that would be
good. Raf, we talked a bit about this, are you still down? I think people
in the community would support this and it's a good idea. you shouldn't
have to pay for it by yourself. I'd be happy to bottomline this and take it
on but it'd be cool if we could figure out some bands who have good draw
and would play for free.
