I actually have a friend who is an electrician who is out of work. They are
a trans person who has had some barriers to finding reliable and safe work
environments (Graham got him hired at his job, but they are both actually
laid off right now, though Graham always has an easy time finding odd jobs,
and for this other person it's more challenging).

If we are going to pay someone, I'd like to highly recommend our friend. I
think it's a good idea. I can ask for a rate of pay and see if we can
afford it.

They are also very free at this exact moment while out of work.
