Raf ignore this because you already expressed youre not worried about
this...

SO,

Bands can play in canada from other countries (that don't require visitor
visas, which is like very small handful of bands) with NO HASSLE. It's
totally 100% legal.

People fought for this, and it worked!

Paperwork is super simple, I put the template in the Black Lab google drive.

Sneaking bands across the border is dangerous for the band. If they get
caught, they get banned. Do it legally, its safer for them. I have never
heard of anyone getting turned away other than for criminal offences which
would happen regardless...

They can bring gear. Merch just needs to have a note that says PROMOTIONAL
ONLY.

If they have paperwork, don't delete the facebook event, it creates more
problems (I had a private event for a band and the border called and was
super suspiciious of why it wasn't public ie.. how are they playing a show
with no advertising).

As a society, we can even just make a letterhead and make the letter seem
even more official.. though it really doesnt matter.

Share this with everyone, people are just learning about how to bring
touring bands to town!
