[Blacklabcollective] Grants - input please!

Thanks for your direct and honest response Raf. I am happy to do or not do
this. For the record it is a lot of work to write them so we definitely
need to be sure we want to do it or else let's not do it. And I respect
your perspective. If people are ok to do the work to earn money how we do
it that's great!!

I think what you're describing is exactly what's happening. These grants
will not keep it sketchy, it can't be.

And for other examples, Maybe you are talking about the place in Aalborg
denmark for example? And yes that would be the model. And yes it was the
least interesting place to play.

I can just do society stuff and leave grants alone. The grant im looking at
is a new society grant for operating. We can keep them separate for sure!

The reason grants require staffing is that grantors don't believe that
projects are worth it to fund if they will fail or shut down. Their biggest
assurance that we won't fail is to have someone paid to make sure it's
running fine.
