[Blacklabcollective] Proposal for help... Plz read

Hey all! As I'm sure you all know, I'm currently hanging out in Mexico with
ahna on their tour. Last night they played a show at a lady-run punk bar in
San Luis Potosi... The show ran about 12 minutes late, and because of this,
the state police (armed w machine guns), local government, and I think
military showed up to shut things down. They also aggressively searched
people at the venue, and the venue is now facing a fine/extortion of 15000
pesos ($1200 Canadian). Which is a ton of money here. To the point that the
venue might not be able to afford it and will shut down for good.

Anju is attempting to get donations from bands who have toured here, and I
thought I'd put forward a proposal that we either also contribute a
donation of $100 providing we can afford it (movie $$?) Or alternatively we
could do a fundraiser show when we're back with all the door money going to
Yasmin, the woman who runs the venue.

This is an opportunity to support international punks in a very real way
and I hope y'all are down :)
