Bad news you guys. I went back online to confirm my bolt bus and in the hour since I last checked the schedule, the bus sold out, and the back up plan grayhound somehow jumped $100 in that same time period. I'm so sorry but I think I am stuck and need to catch a ride with Brianna on Wednesday. I can give y'all a written update of my meetings with the landlord and y'all have permission to make decisions without me. First meeting I've missed in a year! For whatever that's worth.

Landlord is taking rat situation seriously and we will be making steps to fix up the back sinkhole zone and replace the sagging porch (on his dime). When we get together with the carpenter I'm going to also push for a shed like storage zone under/behind the stairs which would be a better spot to store useable lumber and maybe empties. Our responsibility there is decluttering a lot of the bullshit and old lumber that is piling up. Landlord's biggest concerns are getting the front looking nicer and that we're on good terms with the city. I am also on board with figuring out what we need to do on that front, now that we have our non profit status. Maybe looking more closely at the red gates model? And what's that thing about legally being obligated to get the business license within a year of opening or something? Idk maybe I'm getting a bit paranoid but I'd like to see us move into slightly more legal territory.

Anyways y'all are the best, and I'm sorry again I can't be there.
