I've got a solution that might work?

Lindsay and I talked about hiring someone to do a once a month deep clean
for $60, I was going to pitch this at the next meeting. Shiner did a great
job and isn't squeamish, and offered to do a weekly cleaning if we hired
someone. Just a thought, but regardless of what we decide...

I suggest that we tell Jerry that we have hired a janitor and that the new
hire handles all cleaning and deals with the people taking empties, and
that Chris was chosen for the job of empties.

We say, "Thank you very much for offering to help and for the help in the
past, but we realized we had to hire someone. It's someone's job now, so
unfortunately, there is no more cleaning work or need for help with
empties. It wouldn't be fair to them to give away their job and we can't
afford to pay anyone else as we are struggling already."

Thoughts?
