PS the one negative thing i've seen/heard a little bit of feedback about
(which is not us directly but something that happened at the gig) -- there
was one person who was being pretty shitty... they came in and asked to pay
less cover than what we were asking (which is sort of fine obviously) but
then were really really rude and harsh to the door people when they gently
reminded this person that there were two touring bands and to please
consider that.

THEN this person was also dancing really hard at the front (again, fine)
BUT eventually got quite gropey with the singer of Institute while they
were playing and also got weird with other people who were at the show a
bit. this person was not a cis dude so the dynamics were a bit unusual.
unfortunately i didn't really see what happened fully and wasn't sure if
they had just fallen onto the stage or what was up so i didnt intervene at
the time. cera (who was doing door) did however and after the set she took
the initiative to talk to/frankly yell at this person and told them that
shit doesn't fly at black lab and that it was not ok and would not be
acceptable in the future. so hopefully that sunk in for them.

anyways that is how that went down, it kinda sucked, it would have been
better if we'd been able to intervene more directly obviously but you can't
win them all. hopefully the singer from institute wasn't too bummed, I
didn't get a chance to talk to him about it or anything.... just an fyi
cause i saw that someone made a facebook post referencing how said gropey
person sucked.
