"hey legs, how's it going? i'm trying to start the very procrastinated task
of organizing a pre-mayday show/fundraiser (i think it's a fundraiser? i
actually forget now haha i'll have to check) and i was wondering if there'd
be any possibility of having it at blacklab? it'd be like, ideally
somewhere in the week before may 1st. we were thinking something in the
arena of an open-mic of sorts? i could give you some more details if you
want, just let me know. thanks a lot!

we would like it do be the 23rd, 24, 25, or 26th, any of those work. and
the general ideas is that the folks organizing mayday have asked us to hype
it up, so well have some info about it there. basically were just trying to
increase the turnout with a show I suppose. the show would be an open mic
encouraging people who maybe have yet to play a show, or a new project, or
didn't get to play Shoutback or whatever. we'd have a drum kit bass and
guitar set up for folks to use. its co presented by mayday organizers and
shoutback. "
