[Bhpbilliton] A Quick brainstorm request RE: BHP

Hey all!

Regarding the themes that we wish to highlight in the report that fall
outside of the individual case studies, I was thinking that it would be
great to have an idea of which campaigns to mention under the following
themes:

    •    Community Resistance
    •    Human Rights abuses
    •    Labor issues
    •    Protected Areas/No Go Zones
    •    Mining and Food
    •    Cultural / Sacred Sites
    •    Environment Destruction– water, waste etc.
    •    Displacement of Peoples
    •    Critique on BHP and Sustainable Development
    •    BHP influencing policy - subsidizing water and diesel / PNG laws
created by BHP
    •    BHP and climate change
    •    Off-Take Agreements

If your case study has a pressing story regarding one of these theme areas.
Please send me material, or even just a paragraph about it. These will
probably become either text boxes or full-page articles in report! (which we
still haven't decided on the length of.) Don't be shy to send examples in
more than one (or even a few) areas!
