presents a special half-hour TV program

"CUT TO THE HEART - The cost of government cuts in B.C. communities"
TUESDAY, JUNE 10 @ 7:30 pm

On Global/BCTV stations across B.C. 
and NTV, CKPG, CFTK, CJDC

CUT TO THE HEART features the dramatic stories of British Columbians who
share the impact of Campbell's cuts on their lives. Hear from seniors,
students, displaced workers, local families, people with disabilities,
mayors and town councillors, and community coalition members. 

>From the Kootenays to Vancouver Island to Northern B.C., this program
celebrates our communities' continuing fightback efforts, and our
victories.
 
Special guests include Dr. David Suzuki; Mothers Against Drunk Driving
national president Louise Knox; Canadian actor and public health
activist Shirley Douglas; Carrier Sekani Tribal Chief Mavis Erickson;
and economist Seth Klein, Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives. CUT
TO THE HEART is narrated by Veena Sood, former CBC-TV host. 

With thanks to all the unions and organizations who assisted with this
production, including the B.C. Teachers' Federation, Hospital Employees'
