[asc-i] Little Sister Conference Update #1

Well - since we're just over a month away from Little Sister 2003, we 
thought it was time to send a message out to all of you who have 
registered for the LS 2003 conference or who otherwise were interested 
in receiving info in the leadup to it.

A few things that we wanted to let you know:

1) The venue has changed for the conferece. It is currently listed on 
our website and in our materials as at the Maritime Labour Centre - but 
it looks like we will be moving venues to the Britannia Community Centre 
(they are both in the same neighbourhood - it's a move of approximately 
9 blocks). We will be providing directions and info once we confirm 
this.

2) We have extended the deadline for registration to April 20th. If you 
know people who are interested - please tell them that it is not too 
late to register! We will be changing the date on the website.

3) We are still looking for people to speak, to give workshops and to 
facilitate discussions. If you have already registered to come to the 
conference and have an area that you are interested in giving a workshop 
on - please let us know! The workshop submission deadline has been 
extended to April 15th. We do have a some great speakers and workshops 
already lined up - but we need more to round out the schedule.

We will be in touch over the next few weeks to give you directions, send 
out an advance schedule and let you know what events we will be putting 
together for the weekend. If you have any questions - feel free to email 
this address with them and we willdo our best to answer!
