MOBILIZATION AGAINST WAR & OCCUPATION - MAWO

> No War With Iran!

With the U.S. assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani in Iraq on January 3, 2020, U.S. President Trump has escalated the war against Iran and increased the threats of war and further destabilization in the Middle East. These escalations come amidst the continued U.S. occupation of Iraq which has killed over 1 million people since the criminal invasion of Iraq in March 2003.

In response to these increased U.S. threats, sanctions, provocations and killings, millions of people have mobilized in the streets of Iran and Iraq to demand an end to U.S. occupation and intervention in Iraq and the Middle East.

As well, working and peace-loving people around the globe have joined millions of Iranians and Iraqis against the U.S. war machine and to demand U.S. forces withdraw from Iraq and the Middle East. As working, poor and oppressed people in the U.S., Canada and around the world, it is our responsibility to unite and come together to oppose this imperialist criminal war-drive, which since 2001 has brought nothing but death, killing and destruction to the people of the Middle East and North Africa.
