This event will be taking place on the traditional and unceded territories of the Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilwətaɁɬ), the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), and the Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh) Coast Salish Nations.

Over two years ago a Saudi Arabia-led coalition began a brutal attack against the people of Yemen, backed by the United States. Over 12,000 people have been killed through continuous bombing. More than 10 million people in Yemen are in need of life-saving humanitarian and food aid, due to a vicious naval, air and land blockade.

Despite this unthinkable devastation, the people of Yemen are fighting back. On March 26, 2017, hundreds of thousands of people demonstrated in Sana’a, the capital of Yemen, demanding an end to the attacks.

Join Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO) for a public forum and discussion on Friday, April 7 to discuss the roots of this assault on the people of Yemen, and hear from people around the world fighting for an end to the Saudi Arabia-led/U.S.-backed bombing campaign and siege.
