The people of Syria continue to experience untold devastation from a US-led proxy war that has raged in their country for more than 5 years. This inhuman and criminal destruction of Syria is a result of their mission to overthrow the Syrian government and President Bashar al-Asaad. Over 400,000 Syrians have been killed, and at least 5 million Syrians have been forced to flee the country.

On Thursday October 25, 2016 the Pentagon announced in a statement that a US special forces member was killed in a blast in Northern Syria. According to the Washington Post there are roughly 500 US troops deployed to Syria. Under the pretext of helping the Kurdish army in fighting ISIS (Daesh), the US is justifying its illegal military presence in Syria.
