Since the beginning of October 2015, the people of Palestine, whether in Gaza, the West Bank, or Palestinians living in Israel, are joining a new wave of heroic mass resistance to Israeli occupation. In this same time, increasing Israeli brutality has killed at least 73 Palestinians. Israel has also imprisoned over 1600 Palestinians and introduced new violent and repressive legislation in an attempt to quiet the intensifying resistance.

Join with MAWO to hear about why the people of Palestine have been fighting for over seven decades for their rights. We will also discuss how people in the antiwar movement in Canada can stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine in their heroic struggle for self-determination and an end to the Israeli occupation.
