Hundreds of thousands of men, women & children refugees are fleeing from the Middle East and Africa to Europe as a result of over 14 years of the new era of war and occupation. Countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Palestine and Yemen have been the target of wars and foreign interventions by the United States and its imperialist allies.

The government of Canada is participating in the bombing in Iraq and Syria, conducting more than 1800 sorties and dropping over 500 bombs.
As imperialist aggression and wars continue to be a threat to human life around the world, Vancouver antiwar coalition Mobilization Against War & Occupation (MAWO) continues to educate, organize and mobilize against war and occupation, a tradition of fighting for peace as we have been doing every day in the last twelve years. Join us on the streets on Saturday, December 19 to demand an end to imperialist wars and occupations & self determination for all oppressed nations.
