Since July 8, 2014 Zionist Israeli forces have been bombarding Palestinians in Gaza with air-strikes and a ground invasion, indiscriminately and brutally massacring innocent Palestinian people and destroying homes, schools, hospitals, mosques and churches, electrical and water infrastructure and industry. Now, after 46 days, Palestinians have suffered the death of 2095 people and rising, at least a quarter of which are children, and over 10,200 injured. In just the last two days a resurgence of bombing by the Zionist regime of Israel have killed at least 30 more people, and this is expected to continue with today’s statements from Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu that Israel's military campaign in Gaza may be an “extended operation.”

This latest massacre of Palestinians does not stand on it’s own. For over 66 years since 1948 Palestinians have been denied their self-determination, faced countless massacres, expulsion from their lands, and have become refugees abroad or even in their own land of Palestine under Zionist Israeli occupation.

In recent weeks peace-loving people around the world have come out in millions to protest of Israel’s attacks on Gaza. Marches, rallies, banner and flag drops, even the projection of images and slogans on the walls of Israeli and US embassies, have expressed the international solidarity with the Palestinian people. This Saturday lets come together and stand up for the Palestinian people and against Israel’s attacks on Gaza!

While around the world people are coming out to the streets to protest Israel’s attacks on Gaza, in Latin America the governments of many countries have taken a stand in solidarity with Palestine. In 1973 Cuba cut ties with Israel and has never reestablished relations. Venezuela also cut ties with Israeli during Israeli’s siege on Gaza in 2009. Both countries have issued strong condemnations of Israel’s attacks on Gaza. Bolivia has recently limited relations with Israel, and has called Israel a terrorist state. Since the recent attacks on Gaza, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador and Peru have all recalled their ambassadors from Tel Aviv. Argentina, Mexico, Nicaragua and Uruguay have also joined in condemning the Zionist Israeli attacks on Gaza.
