PART I: September 11, 2001, War on Terror and the Role of Canada in the New Era of War and Occupation

Part one of this three-part seminar will discuss the roots of the imperialist war drive and how Canada responded to the U.S. call to their imperialist allies, in order to have a part in the division of labour of going to war and occupying Afghanistan. We will discuss Canada's full participation and involvement, and Canada's complicity in the atrocities in Afghanistan.

Part two will discuss the role of Canada in Afghanistan. This will shine a light on all of the scandals, all of the criminality and the wasted billions of dollars the government of Canada has spent on destroying Afghanistan.

TUESDAY May 20

Part three will look at the many myths of progress, from democracy to woman's rights, to civil society and infrastructure. This will include Afghanistan's latest elections, and discuss at the grim perspective that Afghanistan is facing.
