 June 14, just one week ago, Iran elected a new president. With this 
election, Western media is deluding on one page that this will bring an 
improvement in relations between the US and other imperialists with 
Iran, while on the next page denying and warning that there will be no 
significant change in relations. While these confusing predictions and 
comments are being made, MAWO invites you to join in this forum to 
discuss:

> Can a change of president in Iran bring a fundamental change in the US approach towards Iran?
> What is the US strategy in the Middle East and how does Iran and the recent election fit in this picture?
> What role does Iran play in the Middle East and what dynamics does the election of the new president brings to the region?
