In 2003, in the same year that Iraq was invaded, occupied and people around the world joined the struggle against this criminal and bloody war, MAWO held the first Film Festival for Peace. A decade since the festival was started, MAWO has screened hundreds of films documenting wars, occupations and the struggle of oppressed people for self-determination and a better world. Thousands of people have attended this one of a kind, free, festival complete with film, special guest speakers, art exhibits and more and this year is not to missed!
