Join the MAWO
meeting on January 15 to review and discuss recent antiwar events and
actions. The meeting will begin with 45 minutes of news videos on the
imperialist new era of war and occupation, as well as the struggle of
oppressed people against war and occupation and for
self-determination, from Indigenous nations at home, to oppressed
nations abroad.

In 2003, in the same year that Iraq
was invaded, occupied and people around the world joined the struggle
against this criminal and bloody war, MAWO held the first Film
Festival for Peace. A decade since the festival was started, MAWO has
screened hundreds of films documenting wars, occupations and the
struggle of oppressed people for self-determination and a better
world. Thousands of people have attended this one of a kind, free,
festival complete with film, special guest speakers, art exhibits and
more and this year is not to missed!
