Over the last two months there has been demonization of North Korea by main-stream media in Canada, the U.S. and beyond. This is in addition to an escalation of sanctions, threats and provocations against North Korea by the U.S. and Japan. These attacks have corresponded with the opening of “Operation Foal Eagle” another round of joint war games between the U.S. and South Korean military for the purpose of provocation and preparation for the expansion of the New Era of War and Occupation to the Korean Peninsula. 

MAWO invites peace-loving people in Vancouver to come together to discuss the roots of this world-wide imperialist campaign against North Korea and what we can do to stop this war mongering. 

The meeting will begin with 45 minutes of video and news-clips about the last 60 years of U.S. and South Korean provocation and the struggle of the North Korean people to defend their rights against imperialist aggression.
