In the past 12 years of the new era of war and occupation
oppressed people all over the world have faced a continuous campaign of death
and destruction through imperialist wars, occupations and sanctions. These
attacks have already taken the lives of millions of people and completely
destroyed the countries of Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. 

Now, a US war-mongering campaign of threats and intimidation
has begun against North Korea. The US and their allies are opening yet another
front of the new era of war and occupation in the Korean Peninsula. 

Expanding imperialist wars and occupations are in constant
need of new weapons with which to carry out their attacks. Today, un-manned
drones are used around the world wherever the US government is intervening.
Pilots in offices in the US are controlling drones thousands of miles away that
are killing innocent people from Afghanistan and Pakistan to Yemen and Libya
and beyond.

During the month of April people across the US are
demonstrating against the use of US drones. A march and rally has been called
by the International ANSWER Coalition to take place in Washington, DC on April
13th. In solidarity with these actions in the US, MAWO is organizing an antiwar
rally and petition campaign. We encourage all peace-loving people to join us
for this International Day of Action in Vancouver:
