Join MAWO to discuss our recent events and plan for upcoming
public forums, rallies, petition campaigns and other antiwar actions and
events. Meetings open with 45 minutes of news clips and videos reflecting
recent imperialist threats and attacks around the world and the resistance of
oppressed people against these attacks. This meeting will have a special report
back from the 10th Annual Vancouver International Film Festival 4
Peace that took place last month.

*International Day of Action*



During the month of April people across the U.S. will be demonstrating against
U.S. drones. A march and rally has been called by the International ANSWER
Coalition to take place in Washington, DC on April 13th. In solidarity with
these actions in the U.S., MAWO is organizing an antiwar rally and petition
campaign demanding:



- HANDS OFF NORTH KOREA! 

- NO TO U.S. DRONES!

- U.S./CANADA/NATO OUT OF AFGHANISTAN!

- NO TO WAR AND OCCUPATION! YES TO SELF-DETERMINATION!

- FRANCE, CANADA AND ALL FOREIGN TROOPS OUT OF MALI!

- IMPERIALISTS HANDS OFF SYRIA!

- NO SANCTIONS AGAINST IRAN!

- STOP ISRAEL'S ONGOING ASSAULT ON PALESTINIANS!

- SELF-DETERMINATION FOR INDIGENOUS NATIONS & ALL OPPRESSED NATIONS!

- MONEY FOR HOUSING, HEALTHCARE, JOBS & EDUCATION, NOT FOR WAR AND
OCCUPATION!

- MONEY FOR FIRST NATIONS NOT FOR WAR AND OCCUPATIONS!
