On March 30th, “Land Day” Palestinians throughout occupied Palestine protested against the Israeli occupation of their land, despite attacks on the demonstrations from Israeli military forces. This day has been a day of protest for Palestinians since March 30th 1976, when six Palestinians were killed by Israeli police while protesting against the theft of Palestinian land by the Zionist regime of Israel.

For over 100 years the Palestinian people have faced expulsion from their homes and lands, ethnic cleansing, and being terrorized and killed. For decades their homes and schools have been demolished and the theft of their lands continues up to today. The heroic struggle of Palestinians for self-determination is an every day battle. The antiwar movement and peace loving people around the world must stand in solidarity with Palestinians and demand self-determination for Palestine and the right of return for Palestinians.
