This week’s MAWO meeting will focus on updates and organizing for upcoming actions against the sanctions, increasing threats and covert intervention against Syria and Iran as well as the campaign to defend Wikileaks whistleblower Bradley Manning.  These events include the 8th International Hip Hop 4 Peace Festival: Peace! An Element of Hip Hop. The meeting will begin with 45 minutes of news videos about war and occupations waged by colonial governments and their allies and the resistance of poor and working people all over the world.

((( 4 ))) INT’L DAY OF ACTION: MAWO RALLY AND PETITION CAMPAIGN

On the 11th anniversary of the occupation of Afghanistan the United National Antiwar Coalition (UNAC) in the U.S. has called for an International days of action against wars at home and abroad from October 5-7. Mobilization Against War and Occupation has endorsed this call and will be organizing for a rally and petition campaign demanding:
